Researching your family tree can be a fascinating experience and recent television programmes such as 'Who Do You Think You Are?' have lead many people to wonder about their own family history. Many families have questions about their ancestorssuch as:
- are we really related to that famous person as granny used to tell us?
- have we always lived in this area?
- are we related to that other family in the town with the same surname?
- have I got any relations that I am unaware of?
These questions can often be answered.
I have been carrying out research into family trees for the past nine years, firstly for my own family but then more frequently for friends and acquaintances who have learned of my interest in family history. As I found that working these other trees just as interesting as working on my own I decided to offer a professional service to families keen to discover the history of their own families.
CP Family History Services provide a professional, reliable and cost effective family history research service specialising in East Anglia and north-east London (although if an ancestor is discovered to have come from further afield I am willing to research most places in England).
As each persons requirements will be different I offer a range of four standard services. These can either be used as they are or used as guidelines to which your specific requests can be added to provide a tailor-made package which exactly meets your needs.
A family tree can be enlivened by the inclusion of pictures. I can visit the locations where your ancestors lived to photograph houses, churches and other significant locations from your ancestors lives, together with gravestones where these still exist.
I also provide a document finding service for those of you who are researching your own family trees but are unable, for reasons of distance or time, to visit local record offices to obtain copies of certificates or documents yourselves.
